Small update on progress!

Hello everyone!

There isn’t too much new information to share but I wanted to update you on the current status of the project!

The production process has started using the survey numbers, there will be some leftover plushies for those who missed the initial Kickstarter too! For the Dawn and Dusk colourways I don't have any new sample photos yet as we are using them for reference for the safety tests, but I may be able to get one of each made ahead of the bulk order and shipped to me for better photos.

The BackerKit surveys are currently still open, these will be closed after the next update is posted with the final samples of the claw clips as I want to share those photos before closing it!

We are currently on the (hopefully) last samples, I’ll add my sketch notes on the revisions and changes to the current ones below for now!

Once the safety testing is fully completed I'll be able to share the current expected shipping date and I'll also be sharing some of the extra details like tag designs too! :)

Survey Update!

Hello again everyone!

The Backerkit surveys have just been sent out! You'll be able to select colours/designs, choose add-ons, input shipping addresses and pay for shipping through Backerkit!

After you respond to your survey you can still go back later and change your responses at any time before I close the surveys to get the final counts, which will be in a week or two depending on the survey response rate. After the survey is locked, you can still change your address up until closer to shipping :)

If you or someone you know missed out on pledging, you can use this link to pre-order the plushies through Backerkit!

US shipping rate update

For backers in the US, the shipping prices will be slightly higher than the original estimates. This is because I will now be shipping the plushies from the UK instead of within the US, as I’ve been having issues this past year with importing since I’m based in the UK and have to go through a 3rd party. I don’t want to risk any delays with being stuck at the port so I do think this will be the best option to ensure your plushies arrive safely, but it does mean shipping costs are higher unfortunately. I’ve chosen not to charge the full shipping cost and will instead subsidise these myself to try and keep the numbers as close to the original estimates. As a reference, shipping 1 jumbo plushie was estimated to be £12 but it is now £15, hopefully not too bad of a change but I just wanted to let you know (the difference does scale slightly for bigger/heavier pledges)!

Survey smoke test + dawn and dusk samples!

Hello everyone!

Smoke test

A new update! Some of you will have received your surveys, the smoke test was sent yesterday! This is a Backerkit system that sends the surveys to a percentage of each pledge tier so we can catch any problems early before sending it to everyone. If everything goes well the remaining surveys will be sent, we’re currently at around 50% answered so keep yours eyes peeled for the survey!

Dawn and dusk samples

Here are some manufacturer photos of the stretch goal plushies! We just did one of each colour as it was more of a colour test instead of a shape test, but here you can see what the shades for the dawn and dusk plushies will look like! I may make some adjustments to the embroidery colours for a more pastel effect, depending on what the manufacturer has available!:)

Sample and survey updates!

Hello everyone! A huge thank you for the support with this project, I’m so happy we unlocked every design and I can’t wait for you to receive your cute celestial friends!

As a little update, the Backerkit survey is nearly finished! This will be the survey where you choose your plushie designs, enter your shipping address and pay for the shipping costs. As this is my first time using Kickstarter’s late pledge/add-on system I want to make sure all your items/pledges are imported correctly in the survey. This is very different from the previous system so I’ve been messaging back and forth with Backerkit’s help team to make sure everything is set up properly and that all items map to the right orders!

Hair claw clips!

Here is a new peek at the claw clip! The sample still needs a bit of work to make it as cute as possible so I'll be tweaking the shape and colours a bit! The other two are still being adjusted as I want to ensure they're as perfect, proper photos will be coming soon! <3

Dawn and dusk samples!

The estimate finish date for the dawn and dusk pastel samples is Friday! I wanted to make sure these were finished before the surveys were sent so everyone can choose exactly which design they want, so I will be sharing those photos with the survey launch post! :) They'll also be shared on social media, so keep an eye out for the Twitter/Instagram post!

Hello everyone! All the stretch goals have been reached! I'm so grateful to everyone who backed/shared this project, and I hope you love them when you receive your cuddly friends! 

I’m currently working on the samples for the Dawn and Dusk designs, they’ll be the same shape as the original colourways but in the colours! Here are the swatches I’ve chosen, when I receive progress photos from the manufacturer I’ll share those too!

I’m also working on samples for the hair claw clips and will share the photos of those when they’re ready! :)
